Our international competition team
What is Team UK?
Team UK is our international competition team which travel to Cancun, Mexico every December to compete at the Xpirit World Cup, where we are two time world champions, 2024 and 2025!
What age?
We are looking for dancers between the ages of 10-19.
How do I get involved?
Team UK is by audition only. Dancers can either attend an in person audition or submit a video of them dancing.
Will it get in the way of my current commitments with my dance school?
Absolutely not! It’s 5 days at the start of December and your dance teachers are kept in the loop the whole way through.
How do you rehearse?
We have a few sunday rehearsals on the lead up to December where group dances are learnt.
Do parents come along?
Most parents don’t come along as dancers are looked after around the clock by registered chaperones. However, some do! Parents are welcome to come along as part of our package/delegation too.
What costs are involved?
Unlike Dance World Cup in Europe, everything is covered in your package fee, which is spread out between now and November. The fee includes;

The exact package cost has options so a detailed breakdown will be sent to you on successful application. It is very reasonable and broken into manageable instalments. People spend hundreds more to attend events with far less production, much closer to home that don’t have this tropical feel and then still have to pay for their own travel, accommodation and food on top!
If you wish to apply, please complete the form below and be sure to send in a video of you dancing, approximately a minute long. You upload this using the section on the form.
Your videos will be assessed by our principal, vice principal and external guest choreographer and then deleted after being adjudicated.
Following this, you will either be kindly rejected, invited to an in person audition or offered an immediate spot on the team where you will be sent a social media post to celebrate your success.
