What began as a vision to support and showcase male dancers has grown into one of the UK’s most diverse and innovative performing arts organisations offering training, opportunities and employment from grassroots level right through to the professional stage. We are affiliated with top schools, colleges, casting directors and agencies to ensure the very best connections.

Who We Are

Phoenix Company is more than a school, more than a production company and more than a performance team, it’s a complete creative hub for dancers, singers and performers of all ages. We are proud to be the only organisation in the UK that not only trains performers from their first steps, but also provides a pathway into professional employment within our own productions.

Founded and directed by Simon Hundley, Phoenix has built a reputation for excellence, innovation and inclusivity. With decades of experience in choreography, adjudication, and large-scale event production, Simon has guided Phoenix from a small associate programme into a multi-faceted brand recognised across the UK and internationally.

Training & Development

• Phoenix Associates: Our male and female associates programme offers monthly high-quality classical and cabaret dance training on a “donate what you can” basis, ensuring accessibility for every dancer. We are committed to traditional discipline while embracing modern creativity. Associates receive world-class coaching, nurturing for auditions and preparation for both stage and screen.

• Phoenix Academy: This vibrant Saturday school brings together children and teens for weekly training in dance, drama, and singing. With no auditions required, it’s a welcoming entry point for young people to explore performing arts, build confidence and find their voice.

• Phoenix Collective: Our performance teams who appear at special events, conventions, competitions. Performers can audition to be part of one of the teams.

• Five Star Boys & Phoenix Boys: Our flagship male performance groups, recognised nationally and internationally, featured on shows such as Britain’s Got Talent, This Morning, Blue Peter, Lorraine, CBBC, ITV New Year Big Bash, provide specialist training, mentoring and international performance opportunities for the next generation of male dancers.

• Phoenix On The Road: You can book Phoenix Company to attend your school, college or company to provide high energy and inspiring workshops to supplement their current training. We offer bespoke workshops in all areas of dance and performing arts so get in touch to talk about your requirements.

• Phoenix Productions: We create professional-level shows for theatres, festivals, and international events. From high-energy cabaret in luxury hotels both in the UK and Europe to large-scale concept videos and stage showcases, Phoenix is known for originality and flair.

• Phoenix Media: Combining music, acting, singing and dance, and cutting-edge visuals, our concept videos and bespoke productions give our performers professional filming and recording experience.

• Phoenix Events: Our events company, providing competitions, festivals and workshops.

• Phoenix Residentials (STARS): Phoenix is renowned for immersive residentials, where dancers come together for intensive training, rehearsals, and unforgettable experiences. These events build not just skills, but lifelong friendships.
